Luis Marciliano is a Brazilian production designer and director based in New York City. Former lawyer, he attended the New York Film Academy's conservatory program in filmmaking after changing his career.
He has designed and art directed more than 30 projects, including feature films, short films, commercials, and TV series, currently streaming on HBO, CW, Netflix, Amazon Videos, and Discovery ID. In addition, he has worked with brands like LG, Adidas, Reebok, Verizon, Smile Direct, Harper's Bazaar, Gilead, Fresh Direct, Walmart, Facebook, Hedley & Bennett, Amazon, Logitech, and others.
His short film Fractal, which he wrote, directed, and production designed, won best LGBTQ film from the New York Movie Awards, New York Cinematography Awards, Paris Play Film, and was a finalist at the Dumbo Film Festival and London Shorts, besides being officially selected for other film festivals internationally.
