Luis Marciliano is a Brazilian filmmaker based in New York City. Former lawyer, he attended the New York Film Academy's conservatory program in filmmaking after changing his career.


He has art directed more than 30 projects including feature films, short films, commercials, TV series, and music videos. His work has was for film festivals such as the SXSW, Manhattan Film Festival, Woodstock Film Festival, Orlando Film Festival, and is currently streaming on platforms like CW, Netflix, Amazon Videos, and Discovery ID. In Addition, he has worked with LG, Adidas, Reebok, Verizon, Harper's Bazaar, Gilead, Fresh Direct, Walmart and others.


His short film Fractal, which he wrote and directed, won best LGBTQ film from the New York Movie Awards, New York Cinematography Awards, Paris Play Film, and was a finalist at the Dumbo Film Festival and London Shorts, besides being officially selected for other film festivals internationally.
